ADHD coaching is a process to help you understand your brain better, so you can live and work with ADHD and fulfil your potential (woohoo!).

I coach professionals and freelancers in the creative industries on work and life and the messy middle in between. If you want to know your brain better and learn practical strategies to help you go from surviving to thriving with ADHD, coaching could be for you.

Meet your coach

Hi, I’m Charlotte, your ADHD coach!

I’m a certified ADHD coach and content creator for the creative industries, with ADHD. My mission is to help people understand themselves better so they can live, life, love and work with ADHD.

As your coach, I’ll be a curious, compassionate and knowledgeable expert joining you on your ADHD journey. I help people in the creative industries who are late-diagnosed, or simply ready to get their sh*t together with expert support with ADHD.

My journey

After 10 years in advertising as an account manager and social media manager, in 2021 I discovered I had ADHD on TikTok (later confirmed by my psychiatrist). In true ADHD style I went ALL IN on ADHD and after going on my own ADHD journey I pivoted my career to give support to others like me.

Chat GPT described my LinkedIn (accurately) as:

Charlotte, a dynamic force of creativity and empathy, navigates the world with the precision of a seasoned sailor. Her journey from social media maven to ADHD coach is a testament to her adaptability and passion for helping others understand their unique minds.

I know what I’m talking about. I have ADHD, and am an AACC certified ADHD coach with over 400 hours coaching experience and 115 hrs International Coaching Federation specialist ADHD coach training at ADDCA.

If you want to get to know my vibe you can find me creating content on TikTok.

Introducing ADHD club’s coaching themes, the Four Cs:

Understanding your ADHD is *a journey* and during coaching we’ll navigate it together by working through four major themes: the Four Cs.

Everyone has different areas of work/life they want to work on so before we start we’ll define your coaching goals and use the Four Cs to work out what’s happening, who you are, where you want to go and how to get there.

Coaching is a tailored collaborative process and each week you’ll take small actions towards your goals.

  • Understanding YOUR ADHD and meeting yourself where you’re at

    • Uncovering how you self-sabotage: check yourself before you wreck yourself

    • Self-care jenga: you can’t get what you want unless you know what you need

    • Learning how you process information, how you think and work WITH your ADHD brain text goes here

    • Know your strengths so you can use your ADHD for good

    • If it ain’t broke… Reminding yourself what works

    • RSD: knowing your triggers and strategies for emotional regulation

    • Fighting confidence killers like comparison, perfectionism, and imposter syndrome

    • Working on executive function: motivation, impulsivity, memory, planning and organisation, emotional regulation at work or at home

    • Time awareness strategies so you can get more control of your time.

    • Working out what you can control and letting go of what you can’t

    • Using the interest-based attention system and your ADHD strengths to create bespoke strategies

    • Support: working out what help you need and how to ask for it.

    • Organisation: helping you learn how to get your sh*t together and follow through with actions.

    • Achievable goals: breaking goals into steps to help you make changes.

    • Re-writing your ADHD rulebook: creating a personal manual for your brain.

My coaching ethos encourages process and progress over perfection. I coach with curiosity, compassion and humour.

I coach people in the creative industries including agency, freelance and in house: creatives (art & copy), animators, designers, PMs, account managers & directors, recruiters, media planners, HR & talent team, product managers, social media managers and content creators.

ADHD coaching is like having a life manager who understands ADHD. In coaching we talk about ADHD challenges and come up with practical ADHD-friendly solutions.

Coaching topics include: overwhelm, focus, executive function, motivation, consistency, being sensitive or RSD, confidence, imposter syndrome, post-ADHD diagnosis support, working with ADHD, existential crises and more.

What to expect from ADHD club coaching:

1.Getting started: apply for coaching here.

Then we’ll have a free 30 min intro call to see if we’re a good fit. If we go ahead, you can sign up to weekly or fortnightly online sessions.

Please note I ask for a minimum commitment of 4 sessions fortnightly or weekly. Coaching costs £150 per session, and can be funded by Access to Work, (more info below) your employer or privately funded.

2. The coaching call

Each week we talk about a topic relevant to your life, and we’ll explore it while learning about ADHD. I’ll listen sensitively and empathetically to your challenges, help explain your things from an ADHD expert perspective. I have ADHD too so this is a genuinely judgement-free zone where you can fully unmask.

3. Action stations

Towards the end of the call, after discussing specific challenges you’re facing, we’ll figure out what you can do about it. Homework is always optional and ADHD-friendly.

You’ll take actions towards your goals, and have me as an accountability partner. I’ll send reminders so you follow through with your intentions.

The coaching process!

Over time we learn and progress. I’ll remind you to celebrate wins, and keep notes so you can remember what you’ve learned. If strategies don’t work, we’ll switch up the tactics. I coach with curiosity, compassion and a sense of humour - without judgement providing a different perspective as an ADHD expert.

I help professionals in the creative industries via 1:1 coaching and I work with creative businesses to attract and retain neurodivergent talent.

I have over a decade of experience of working with ADHD in creative and media agencies before retraining as an ADHD coach.

The combination of my lived experience and ADHD expertise means I get the struggles of working with ADHD, and know how to provide meaningful and effective support.
